Twoadditionalsensors,TemperatureandVoltagesensorsareincludedwithCLAB.
Belowyoufindtechnicalspecificationsofbothsensors.
1.BT01Temperaturesensor
The CMA BT01 Temperature sensor is a
generalpurpose temperature sensor that
can be used to measure temperature in
liquids (water, mild acidic solutions) and
air. The sensor can record temperature in
the range of‐40°C to 140°C.The sensing
element of the sensor is a 20 k NTC
thermistor,
which is positioned in a
stainlesssteeltube.
TheTemperaturesensorissuppliedcalibratedindegreesCelsius°C.TheCoach6
program allows selecting the measuring range of the sensor and shifting the
sensorcalibrationifneeded.
Thesensorhasabuiltinresistorforautomati csensoridentification.
1.Practicalinformation

TheTemperaturesensorcanbeusedinasimilarwayasathermometer.Hereare
somegeneralguidelinesforusage:
Donotusethesensortomeasuretemperatureshigherthan150°C,thismay
damagethesensor.
Keepthesensorcableawayfromtheheatsource.
Donot
putanypartofthesensorinaflameoronahotplate.
Avoidsubmergingthesensorprobebeyondthestainlesssteelpart.Thehandle
isnotwaterproof.
Alwayscleanthesensorthoroughlyafteruse.
Thesensortubeisconstructedfromstainlesssteel,whichhasahigh
resistance
tocorrosionfromweakacidsandalkalis.Someenvironmentse.g.saltwater
maycausesomediscolorationofthestainlesssteeltubebutthiswillnotaffect
thesensor’sperformance.
Donotusethissensorinastrongacidorstrongbase.Achemicalreactionmay
causepermanentdamage.
Thesensorcanbeleftinanalkalinesolution,suchasNaOH,forupto48hours,
withonlyminordiscoloration.Wedonotrecommendusingthesensorinbasic
solutionswhichconcentrationisgreaterthan3M.
Themaximumlengthoftimerecommendedforexposuretoanacid
is
dependentontheacid’sconcentration.Ingeneralwedonotrecommend
